Do you ever read the nutrition facts of the food you eat? Well, our students do! This week, the Biology lesson in 3rd ESO hasn’t taken place in the classroom but in the supermarket. There, the students were divided into groups and given some activities to do: they had to check the nutrition facts of certain products, compare different brands and find types of food suitable for people suffering from diabetes, obesity, gluten intolerance, anorexia or hypertension. Thanks to this entertaining activity, our students have practised specific vocabulary in English, and, above all, they have learned to be aware of nutrition needs whenever going shopping for food.
