The European Day of Languages was established by the European Commission and the Council of Europe in 2001 to promote language learning and celebrate the linguistic and cultural diversity of the European community. Every 26th September, different activities take place at schools all over Europe. This year, a group of students from 2 ESO have drawn  the outlines of European countries and written a few words in the official languages spoken in each of them. The idea was to make other students guess both the country and the language (the colours of the flags helped a lot!) and at the same time realize the great linguistic diversity there is in our little continent.
